The Taranaki Community Rugby Trust (TCRT) is a registered charity and exists for the purpose of promoting community rugby. We are a unique charity in that we operate a successful dairy farming business to help generate a base of funds to support our cause.

Our belief is that it doesn’t matter your background, being involved in physical team sport is great for kids. It improves physical, mental and social well-being, health and fitness.

TCRT Logo on TRFU Bulls Player Jerseys, 2020
You may see the Taranaki Community Rugby Trust (TCRT) logo proudly displayed on the TRFU Bulls player jerseys this 2020 Mitre 10 Cup season.
This is by virtue of the TRFU generously offering to promote the charitable cause and profile of TCRT for free – no charge. The TCRT is delighted to enjoy this level of patronage and support from the TRFU as the sanctioning body of community rugby in the province.
As a registered charitable community entity we emphasise that TCRT resource allocations and distributions are made solely to the Taranaki community rugby environment. The TCRT does not contribute to the professional game. There are no commercial, funds transfer or any other transactional arrangements between the TCRT and the professional organisation of the TRFU.
With this level of gratis profile exposure offered through the TRFU we wish to relay our sincere appreciation to all of you who donate to and support the TCRT. The Trust’s positive profile is a result of all of your accumulated contributions. Thank you. We hope you will take equal pride in seeing the goodwill value of the charity that you support being displayed across the provincial community and wider audio-visual audience through the TRFU Bulls as a value-added brand carrier.
Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any comments, thoughts or questions.
Many thanks and best regards,
Malcolm Sutherland

TCRT are thrilled to welcome new Donors Damon and Tracey of Stihl Shop Hawera.
They have generously donated a new ride-on lawn mower for use on the Johnston property, which will significantly help in freeing-up time for our farm managers.
Peter Crawford, Malcolm Sutherland, Sean Luttrel and Lynsay Ireland went to visit Damon and Tracey to check out the new mower and provide Stihl Shop with a TCRT Donor Certificate.
